In a word yes and no. But there is a reference to a tires comparasion web page down a few posts. I'm on my second 140/90 tire, the first rubbed the front left saddle bag support bolt and I ended up with a flat head metric bolt the correct thread and coounter sunk the bracket hole and minimized the rubbing. Seems like some bikes have the fender offset to the right for some reason. Not sure about the new one yet and the bike is still on the hoist awaiting me to finish the rack support brackets. I have mounted a set of hard bags purchased from Bent Bike Salvage in Kent,WA with no idea of what they wre supposed to fit. Also cut off the sissy bar and will be using it as a support for a Honda Trail 90 rack. Will allow for easier grocery hauling and a better seat for my wife if she decides on a scoot. But w/o the shocks and bag brackets on, it appeared to not rub on the factory bolt. I can see no reason to replace the rim strip although some recommend it. I do replace the tube each time, I always have 2 on hand as I have yet to lever one of the tires on w/o pinching the tube at least once. Be sure to have the tire/wheel assembly balanced for best tire and wheel bearing life and minimum vibration. Happy levering , Max
